The crew lives aboard the 137 foot schooner and National Historic Landmark, Roseway. Teaching middle school students about basic seamanship, navigation, ecology and poetry, as well as life skills such as effective communication, trust, teamwork, self-worth, etc. Exhausting and rewarding.

In the winter season, the St. Croix public schools send each of their 700 or so 7th graders in groups of 20 or so, for 5 daysails on the Roseway.
